Woodland Garden

The Samaritan Women is blessed with about 10 acres of environmentally-protected, forested land that is perfect for groups who want to have a real woodland experience without traveling great distances.  Our Woodland Garden has alcoves of open spaces for small gatherings and picnics, or room to accommodate groups of 100+.  There are also trails where you can walk deeper into the woods for an even greater nature experience.

The Woodland Garden is an ideal space for Scouting troops, nature lovers, and bird watchers.

Volunteer: 

We can use volunteers to help us preserve and maintain this forested area.  Our reforestation plan includes occasionally thinning of volunteer trees and cutting felled trees for firewood.  Join us for planting woodland florals or propagating specimen trees.
