Step Up Program
The time spent in a hospital or treatment
facility is often less than what’s needed for a full recovery. Usually,
it’s just a starting point.
Our Step Up Program is for young women
who have been diagnosed with emotional, behavioral, or
substance abuse problems and who are in the early stages
of recovery. This
is a structured program for those coming from a hospital,
stabilization program, or treatment center or for those
who require a higher level of supervision than what is
available on an outpatient basis.
The Step Up Program is created uniquely
for each resident, based on counseling needs and her
willingness to participate in recovery. Each resident
will have a Individual Action Plan (IAP) that will monitor
her goals and progress in the following areas:
- Self image
- Interpersonal communications
- Community
participation
- Academics
- Self management
The goal of the Step Up Program is to advance each young
woman in her recovery, build stability and support, and prepare
her to transition to a more self-directed recovery strategy,
such as that provided in our Step Out Program.
