Medical Care
The Samaritan Women is not a hospital
or medical/psychological treatment facility. Please
understand:
- TSW will follow the instructions
from your medical professionals in terms of administering
any prescribed medications that your daughter requires. You
should seek any pharmacological assessment and treatment
from your own medical professionals.
- You will be asked to sign a release
allowing TSW to administer basic first aid, over-the-counter
medications, and/or prescribed medications under
the strict written orders from your daughter’s prescribing physician. This
release will also allow us to make decisions for medical
treatment based emergency situations if you cannot
be reached in a timely manner.
- The cost of medical care and medications will be
your responsibility and are not part of the basic services
covered under this program.
TSW participates in the Visiting Nurses program. You may
opt into participating in these services for routine medical
and dental examinations as part of this program.
