Safety and Security
Your daughter’s safety is of paramount importance
at The Samaritan Women. All of our staff undergo
a background investigation and adhere to our strict code
of conduct. Ours is a smoke, alcohol and drug- free
environment.
This facility offers 24-hour supervision in a minimum security
environment. We are not considered a “locked” facility. Some
residents may be granted access off the property as her
Individual Action Plan, custodial agreement, and conduct
warrants.
Clients may be subject to a comprehensive
physical and property search and periodic drug testing. Any
property that could be harmful to her person (or others)
will be confiscated and returned upon dismissal.
Depending on your daughter’s
program, she may be required to adhere to a strict dress
code (for example, no strings, shoelaces, belts, jewelry,
etc.) and be limited in her personal possessions.
Visitors are all pre-approved by the
admitting authority with visits during scheduled visiting
hours only. Visits
are confined to the approved visitor spaces within and
around the facility. Some residents in the Step Up
program may be under more stringent visitation privileges.
Medical personnel of record and those directly affiliated
with the facility and clergy are granted open, supervised,
visitation.
