May is a special month dedicated to honoring mothers, a time when we recognize the profound impact they have on our lives. This month, we pray for women who are mothers and find themselves in shelters, often escaping from abusive situations or seeking refuge from exploitation. As we lift our voices in prayer, we seek God’s strength, courage, and wisdom for these mothers and their children.

For hope and healing for all those impacted by sexual exploitation
PRAYER POINTS
- Pray for mothers currently in abusive situations. Our Lord is the ultimate source protection, and we trust His mercy and compassion to intervene on their behalf.
- Pray for the mothers and their children currently in programs. Pray for strength to overcome the trauma they have experienced and the resilience to rebuild their lives. Surround them with Your love and peace, Lord, as they begin the journey of healing and restoration.
- We pray God’s blessings upon their children. We pray for their protection and peace. Surround them with love and shelter them from harm. May they know God’s presence in their lives.
- Pray for wisdom, compassion, and patience for the staff and volunteers working with these mothers and children.
- Pray that God would provide abundantly for every need of these shelters. Whether it be financial resources, physical supplies, qualified staff, or supportive volunteers. We pray that the Lord would pour out His blessings upon these shelters, that they may continue to be a place of refuge an healing for these women with children.
